Global warming has become a recent phenomenon that can be seen in the weather of Mizumaki. Mizumaki has several days during summer in which the temperatures go above 30 degrees C, while there are very few days in winter where the temperature goes below 0 degrees.Mizumaki receives much rainfall during the rainy season of June and July. Nonetheless, in the last 10 years the amount of rainfall has been declining.An average of 26 typhoons per year arises around Japan.
